Where "userid" is, use your e-mail account ID.

Uploading
After you have created and tested your site, the next step is to COPY your files from your computer to our web server. To transfer a copy of your files, you will need an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program.

Below are links to where you can obtain an FTP program for the Mac or for the PC. Click on the link below for your platform. Each site will have instructions on how to use their FTP program^*

PC\Windows users click here.

To connect to AdvancedNet by FTP, enter all the data below into the appropriate fields of your FTP program. Like this:

Hostname: ftp.advancednet.net
UserID: (enter your userid followed by @mail.advancednet.net like this, bofh@mail.advancednet.net - where both is your userid)
Password: (the same password that gives you access to your mail)
Directory: (leave this area blank)
